Volunteer Opportunities
We make no profit from this experience. Every dollar goes directly into building the game and creating an unforgettable night for the players. Volunteering is a chance to be part of something magical while helping bring joy to others.
Whether you love guiding guests, setting up behind the scenes, or getting into character, there’s a role for you. All volunteers receive a discount or special perks as a thank-you for their time and energy.
Be a Prefect
As a Prefect, you'll still attend the event and enjoy all the activities—but with a leadership twist! Prefects are assigned to a specific house and are there to support the students in their house in every way possible to help them win the House Cup. You’ll answer questions, guide students through the game, and help count House Points throughout the event.
Unlike other participants, Prefects won’t have a task list—they’ll have a schedule and the freedom to float where needed.
Must be available to meet in person in Heber on a day between October 4–10 for a prefect meeting—preferably in person, but Zoom is an option if necessary. Prefects must also arrive at the event one hour early.
Note: We only need 4 Prefects for each night, so sign up early!

Behind-the-Scenes Helper
Want a sneak peek at the magic before it happens? Behind-the-scenes volunteers help with set-up and/or clean-up a few days before and after the event. You’ll get a deeper look at how the game works and be an essential part of bringing it all together.
To receive the discount, volunteers must commit to at least 2 hours of help. You’ll be able to sign up for time slots that work with your schedule.

Be an Extra
Get creative! As an extra, you can show up as a ghost, a quirky teacher, or even Mr. Filch himself. You’ll float through the castle making sure everything runs smoothly—checking on details like treats, decor, and overall vibe. You’re the magical glue that holds the experience together.
Perk: 75% off your ticket (you’re basically just paying for dinner).
Photography & Videography Volunteer
Don’t want to pay for the full event but still want to check it out, hang out with friends, and see how it all works? If you have a bit of experience with photography or video, we’d love your help capturing the magic! You’ll float around during the event taking photos and/or videos of key moments, decorations, activities, and more.
Perfect for creatives who want to be part of the fun without participating in the full storyline.
