Ravenclaw Characters

Must be available to meet in person in Heber on a day between October 4–10 for a prefect meeting—preferably in person, but Zoom is an option if necessary. Prefects must also arrive at the event one hour early.

As a Prefect, you'll still attend the event and enjoy all the activities—but with a leadership twist! Prefects are assigned to a specific house and are there to support the students in their house in every way possible to help them win the House Cup. You’ll answer questions, guide students through the game, and help count House Points throughout the event.

Unlike other participants, Prefects won’t have a task list—they’ll have a schedule and the freedom to float where needed.

• Backstory: Growing up in a family of scholars, you were always surrounded by books and encouraged to seek knowledge. Your insatiable curiosity and dedication to your studies have earned you a reputation as the go-to person for answers at Hogwarts. Your parents, both academics, instilled in you a love for learning and a drive to excel in everything you do.

• Character Trait: Always holding a stack of books. You wear tidy, scholarly attire, often with ink stains on your fingers and a pair of reading glasses perched on your nose.

• Backstory: Intelligent and endlessly curious, you’ve always felt more at home among magical creatures than people. Whether it’s a niffler curled in your pocket or a bowtruckle perched on your shoulder, there’s always a creature nearby. You’re often found in the Care of Magical Creatures classroom—or sneaking into rooms where beasts aren’t technically allowed.

• Character Trait: Always seen with a magical creature on your shoulder or arm, and bits of hay, fur, or feathers clinging to your robes.

• Backstory: Born into a family with a dark secret, you’ve had to hide your vampire nature your entire life. At Hogwarts, this secrecy is even more crucial, as vampires are not permitted within the school.

• Character Trait: Pale makeup. You have a reserved and cautious demeanor, always on guard, staying away from sunlight.

• Backstory: With parents who were both professional Quidditch players, your love for the sport is in your blood. Your dedication and skill earned you the position of Quidditch captain, where you lead your team with determination and passion.

• Character Trait: Always with your broomstick. You have a confident and athletic build, often seen in Quidditch robes.

• Backstory: Fascinated by the stars and their magical influence, you spend many nights in the Astronomy Tower charting constellations and studying how celestial movements affect magic and fate. You’re always ready to connect the dots between the heavens and the hidden currents of wizarding magic.

• Character Trait: Wears layers of star-themed jewelry and often ties a bandana around their head, giving a free-spirited but studious look.

• Backstory: Quiet and focused, you’ve always been drawn to the mysteries etched in stone. Ancient runes speak to you in ways others can’t understand. Whether deciphering a protective charm or uncovering a forgotten spell, you find clarity in the puzzle.

• Character Trait: Magical rune tattoos that glow faintly when near enchanted objects.

• Backstory: Quiet, sharp, and always reading, you’re the type of wizard who'd rather solve a magical riddle than fly a broomstick. You spend most of your time buried in ancient texts, searching for lost knowledge and forgotten spells. People may overlook you—but you probably already know their entire backstory from a footnote you read last week.

• Character Trait: Wears glasses and always carries a couple of books tucked under one arm or in a worn satchel.
