Hufflepuff Characters

Must be available to meet in person in Heber on a day between October 4–10 for a prefect meeting—preferably in person, but Zoom is an option if necessary. Prefects must also arrive at the event one hour early.

As a Prefect, you'll still attend the event and enjoy all the activities—but with a leadership twist! Prefects are assigned to a specific house and are there to support the students in their house in every way possible to help them win the House Cup. You’ll answer questions, guide students through the game, and help count House Points throughout the event.

Unlike other participants, Prefects won’t have a task list—they’ll have a schedule and the freedom to float where needed.

• Backstory: You were bitten by a werewolf as a child, a tragic accident that changed your life forever. Since then, you’ve had to hide your condition from everyone at Hogwarts. Despite the constant fear of being discovered, you’ve managed to make friends and even excel in your studies.

• Character Trait: A prominent scar on your face. You often wear long sleeves to hide other marks from transformations.

• Backstory: With parents who are renowned herbologists, your love for plants was nurtured from a young age. You’ve spent countless hours in greenhouses, learning everything you can about magical flora.

• Character Trait: Vines on your robes. You carry a small set of gardening tools and often have dirt under your fingernails.

• Backstory: Raised on tales of legendary Quidditch matches, you’ve been flying since before you could walk. Brave, bold, and fiercely loyal to your team, you lead with heart and push everyone to fly their best.

• Character Trait: A well-worn broom with custom gold grip tape, and a whistle always around your neck.

• ​Backstory: From a young age, you were drawn to magical creatures, often spending hours in the woods near your home observing them. Your knowledge and love for these beings have only grown since coming to Hogwarts.

• Character Trait: Always accompanied by a pet (real or plush). Your clothing often has animal-themed patterns, and you have a gentle, caring demeanor.

• Backstory: As a muggle-born, you’ve always been fascinated by the magical world, but you never lost your love for muggle culture. Your vlogs, where you explore the intersections of both worlds, have garnered a following among both muggles and wizards.

• Character Trait: A camera or phone, muggle fashion under your cloak. You have a curious and enthusiastic demeanor.

• Backstory: Raised on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, Laura (or Leon) learned survival and magic from parents who served as forest wardens. When a dark creature attacked their home one winter night, their family fought it off at great cost. Since then, they’ve devoted their life to mastering the forest—tracking dangerous beasts, brewing cures from rare plants, and guarding the wilds from those who would harm them.

• Character Trait: You carry a satchel filled with plants and seeds, ready to collect samples wherever you go. You’re observant, patient, and detail-oriented, always noticing the small wonders of the natural world. You always carry a handy outdoors Wizarding survival kit.

• Backstory: Growing up in a quiet wizarding village struck by a strange magical illness, you refused to give in to the gloom that gripped the community. At just nine years old, they began brewing cheering charms and leaving baskets of enchanted flowers at every doorstep. Their small acts of hope spread faster than the sickness, lifting spirits until the village healed. Since that day, they’ve made it their mission to be a constant source of light—warm, optimistic, and unshakably kind, even when the world turns dark.
